If you're reading this, I'm going to assume that dogs, or more specifically, one or two dogs in in particular, are a big part of your life and though I've never cared for a dog that I can truly call my own, they're a big part of mine too. No matter their shape or size they always come with an abundance of love and loyalty and leave paw prints in our hearts that stay with us through life. Caring for your dogs has taken me through many twists and turns on somewhat of an entrepreneurial adventure which started out with me simply doing what I love, but as the road continues and we approach the end of an absolutely bonkers year, I find myself beginning a new chapter still, with the hope and intent to help and provide you with the best products on the market to make caring for your furry friend just that little bit easier. Please note, on any purchases you make using the links listed below, Amazon may pay me a small percentage at no extra cost to yourself. It's a super easy and free way to help support small businesses survive these uncertain times. I hope you enjoy!
Having treats at the ready is so incredibly important when having a dog, especially when it comes to training and through the puppy years. Good behavior should never go unrewarded whether that be in form of lots of fuss and a cheery "Good dog!" or a tasty treat like the ones listed above. My key when shopping for treats is that they have simple ingredients and they're super tasty - remember these should be a reward for our dog's good behavior. The tastier the treat, the higher the reward value ( the more likely our dogs are willing to co-operate). I carry Heathy Hounds with me on all walks as they're a good size for a quick reward for your dog and I've seen Misfits Scruffy Bites tempt even the pickiest of eaters! Don't forget I now stock Sea Treats Natural Salmon and Organic Seaweed bites on our store for an added dose of Omega-3s too!
Collars don't have to be so boring! Here are 3 funky ones that I found ( the doughnut one is my favourite!) Did you know it is a legal requirement to ensure your dog is wearing a collar when out in public? The Hunter Led Collar attachment has also just come into stock on our store for your evening and early morning walks... Safety first!
I could write an entire post recommending puzzle toys for your dog. It is so important to provide them with mental exercise along side their physical walks in the park as it gives them a whole new layer of stimulation and thus tires them out in a very different way. Each one has it's added benefits too varying from dental hygiene to prolonged entertainment when you need to keep your pup occupied for just that little while longer. Let me know in the comments if you would like to hear more on this!
Well, I hope you enjoyed my first bunch of recommendations! There's plenty more on the way. Let me know what problems you're facing at the moment and I will do my very best to help resolve them. As always, thank you all for you're ongoing support and enjoy the rest of you're weekend Beth X
